my strongest colonist has now about 20 bone bows equipped
Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite work right. The biggest problem is that it tends to make colonists drop weapons in the middle of combat. I’d rather my guy with the charge rifle hang on to his rifle and use it to melee, than have him drop it so he can pull a knife or a mace.
Or worse, drop his charge rifle to draw a beer bottle. It treats beer bottles in inventory as melee sidearms, and forces colonists to use them in melee. Even when using the primary ranged weapon as a club would be better.
Overall, the drawbacks were just too severe to keep using it.
Thats the main reason i am convinced my problem is just my fault for not setting it up to my liking :D
