Psycasters Not Meditating

I had 1 primary, 1 budding psycaster. I set mediating spots for them next to my legendary silver sculpture. But since the update that changed how psychic powers work, they have never meditated at all. Neither are tribal and cannot use the meditation spot by the anima tree. As a test I tried setting a tribal as psychast and gave him a meditation spot by the anima tree but he will not do it either. The tree is clear of any constructed objects.

I have seen non-psycaster pawns meditate frequently. I waited for my count's recreation go low enough to do recreation activities - drafted and undrafted him a couple hundred times over several minutes and he would randomly select any and every recreation activity EXCEPT meditation.

So all my psycasters are useless with psyfocus stuck at 0.

Recreation?
Meditation is it's own work schedule category in addition to recreation, free time, sleep and work.
