23 days means A Lot of medicine is required, probably proper medicine too and not just herbal medicine unless you have amazing doctors. If you have the resources and skilled doctors to do it, then it is absolutely doable.
That’s quite doable once you are making your own medicine from home-grown herbal meds, but prohibitive when you’re still buying it from traders.
I do agree with Vattende. About 75% of the time I don’t care about the rewards enough to pursue the quest, even if it’s fairly easy. Royal Favor may even be a drawback since an increase in rank leads to demands for a better bedroom and throne room.
Though I will point out that quests that generate a temporary map - treasure stash, attack hostiles - have the hidden reward of whatever’s lying around on the map. Early in the game a load of steel and cloth can make a quest more appealing. I snagged an Excellent quality steel bed from one. Which isn’t a big deal late, but is nice when your builder is still making Poor and Normal beds.
