No Bills!
So, I've created a new mods list of the things I most commonly use and added a few that I consider desirable. I've spent all day on this. I added the mods a few at a time and reloaded after each group were added so there were no errors. It's done. No errors, everything checks out.

Now the fun part.

I started a new game and I'm butchering so I can cook a few meals. Butchering spot placed I access the Bill tab and there's nothing there. The same goes for the crafting spot. Now there's a mod in there somewhere that's causing a glitch.

Anyone have any ideas or have seen this before?

Thanks in advance!

I'd start by disabling any mods which add new items or otherwise affect crafting, then go through the process again - start a new game and see if you have Bills on a Crafting spot or butchery spot (no need to build tables for those).

- If that works, go about re-adding mods slowly until something breaks.

- If the bills aren't showing up, disable all mods then check the Crafting Spot in a new game.

-- If that works, re-add the mods you would normally use (minus the few you consider desirable), and check again.

-- If zero mods doesn't work, verify game cache and/or do a full reinstall (including deleting game folders in both Steam and %appdata%, to ensure that no leftover mod files are affectin things.)
I'm suspecting this might be a thing you'll have to do, especially if youve tinkered with mods a lot.

--- if your commonly-used modlist is working fine and you can see bills, then go one-by-one through the desired mods until something breaks.

Alas, the game not reporting an error on the main menu doesn't mean errors can't exist.

Incidentally, you mentioned having spent a day on this.
I know troubleshooting modlists can be time-consuming, but that seems like a long time.

While I don't feel that the solution is more mods, perhaps consider using Startup Impact to see which of your mods are taking the most time to load & take those out first. You can always re-add them later.
Reducing the amount of time each restart takes will make the process that much faster.

So for example, if a mod takes 30 seconds to load, and you find that you need to reload like 20 times, knowing in advance that this is the one you should (temporarily) remove from your active mod-list will save you a full 10mins worth of sitting about waiting. If the mod takes 2mins to load, you'll have saved yourself more than half an hour by excluding that one from the start.

The reason I spent most of the day on the list is because I added the mods only 2 or 3 at a time. If I got errors then I removed what I'd added then readded one at a time. I wasn't aware errors could still be present. That in itself is upsetting.

Thank you for the detailed help I'll get on to the trouble shoot right away.

I think the problem was of my own making by way of not understanding properly. I'd added one of Dubs menu mods and this caused the bills to be reformatted elsewhere. I removed the mod and everything is fine now.

Thanks again for the help.

Did yall ever figure this out? I'm experiencing the same issue halfway through my current run and I didn't add/remove/change anything about the mods to trigger this issue
