Count Title - Worth it?

Ok, I have a Baron Colonist but Im thinking... whats the point turning him a Count?

Rimworld has no achievements at all so.... i dont see a reason to "upgrade"....

You count will not do anything beside talking to people.
also it will require fancier clothing or armor.
If you can afford that, have fun.
But that pawn will become almost useless for normal tasks.

Count can also do art work and you can give him power armor as gear so he can fight well.

And if you lost an important pawn you can keep the body in freezer or an sarcophagus and if you get your hand on resurrector mech serum, you can resurrect him.

He meant losing a productive pawn

higher titles have an even worse draw on the colony then taking the royal out of the work force.

The speeches he or she wil give wil put everything on halt for some hours every now and then.

It's not that bad if you properly set up your base.
a speech take about 2 hours for me

you can put your count inside cryptosleep casket and avoid spending resources on a fancy throne room/bedroom. That's what I do.
I havent tried that on visisting noble, but it worth a shot.
