Step two build sun lamps in the middle of your crops/farm
Step three build heaters and coolers so when it becomes cold or hot you can just switch the temperature to the right amount so that your crops dont die or stop growing because they're in the wround temperature.
Step four congratulate yourself because you successfully built a functial green house.
if game updates or mod comes out for glass and glass walls and such then just build walls out of glass and roof if glass roof exsist.
Hope I helped
No , However~
-Build Sunlamp
-Hook it up to a Minimum of 2 solar Generators (own grid not the main grid) (they have to work at 50% which they will do 90% of the time to power the light add a 3rd generator if you got a wonky weathered map)
-Wall Sphere of Influence in.
-Smack a heater in the room (if in zones where it drops below 10°C) connected to main Power Grid.
Sun goes up , Sunlamp is Powered, Plants are Growing
Sun goes down, Sunlamp is off , plants are resting (which they do regardless of light between hour 22-06 every day)
Working Greenhouse without sucking 1600 watts for 12 hours out of your colony without any reason.
Getting enough power is going to be your biggest issue, so make sure to do double thick walls and air locks in vital places so you can minimize the energy needed to heat up your base.
