What do dentures do?
I've installed them on a few people, out of curiousity, but not sure exactly what they do?

Lol.. Jaw replacement basiclly. You might have just nerfed them a bit. Since it has an effect on their ability to talk and eat.

Edit: If their jaw is shattered or missing dentures fix that.

Rip tribe members.
Those wooden, herbal dentures are the newest fad in Haven. Least everyone will be a little messed up. Who needs your original jaws anyway.

If someone has a broken/shattered jaw it fixes it.

However it doesnt restore functionality to 100% and affects the persons talking and eating as mentioned.

If you capture raiders you dont want and plan on releasing...you can add these to practice medical skill, along with giving them peg legs.

I see i'm not the ony sick SoB that does this. You can go a step farther by removing the peg legs too. Sure it takes forever for them to crawl away once you release, but does that matter? Doc didn't mind the extra 2k exp. Dont forget the hooks. They are pirates after all.
ZugZug Nov 18, 2016 @ 4:33pm
To add onto this, Released pirates tend to come back on raids so.. Yeah, Mutilate them and next time around you'll have an easier go.

Can you put the pegs on then take them off, then put them on again until the prisoner dies gaining experience?

I have, I don't recall if you continuously get experience but if prisoners did something stupid (Such as bashing one of my doors down because they had a mental break from the puke and blood coated state of their cell) I took away their walking privileges.

This thread is beautiful...

I got this mod that add alot of new prosthesis and similar stuff, i have started this new pirate trend, all the pirates i capture alive get two wood legs, two hooks and two eye patches...hard to get more pirate then that...i even had some of them come back in later raids, guess they want more replacement parts.

Dont know what your talking about, "releasing" them :p organs are valuable man... xD
Greenman Nov 19, 2016 @ 1:54pm
I run a successful bed and breakfast... when the raiders come I give them a bed and then eat them for breakfast.

The only release granted is to their vital organs, into the jar of freedom.

I think that this has to be my number 1 favorite thread!!!

Except for one little thing....

No one has meantioned how much more efficient it is to just leave the dead prisoners that died to "unforseen heart removal complications" and let the living ones chow down on them to give your hardworking doctors some downtime before they get the rest of the valuable mony makers sloshing around inside of those prisoners!
Greenman Nov 19, 2016 @ 3:07pm
I designed a super high tech security wing to hold... *house my guests.. they still managed to attempt escapes but then realised its just cheaper and less hassle to relieve the guests of their legs. A prisoner with no legs attempts escape 99.99% less than a prisoner with legs.

p.s two pirate patches... thats gold.
