Mass Area Reassign?
Is there an easy way to reassign all your animals? Everytime the base comes under attack I have to pause the game and go in to select all the animals to move to safe zone in base. Once the enemy is dealt with they can go back to grazing in the open fields which requires I select them all again.

This was not so much an issue when I only had a few animals but I found breeding a great way to make money and have about 100 animals now. So it's a real pain and they have to stay in the open fields so there is enough grass to feed them.

I use the animals tab for that and then simply click and hold the intended area and drag down the list so all my animals are set to the intended area. Then, when the danger has subsided, I simply open up the animals tab again and click-drag them all back to their respective zones.

I am, however, unsure if this would work without mods because I have mods that allow me to sort that list depending on gender, age or even diet

The click and drag method saves time but like the OP, I'd like to have a single button at the top that will apply send the whole list to an area. Somethings an "Area 1 All" or "Area 2 All."

I think this mod may be what you are looking for:

Better Pawn Control works if your population is kind of stable.
My 150+ animals are too difficult to save all the time in the mod, so click and drag like there is no tomorrow ...
I just wish there would be a better solution, like @Sikon said above

From the quick video of the Mod I realize what dacian is talking about. I often have new animals being born as I'm farming them to sell so every couple days I get new animals and would need to constantly be updating that party list.

Yes, I, too, tried this mod for the one-click everyone inside and all animals in the barn feature. But, that feature has to be maintained and I would often find the overlooked baby animals and new recruits in trouble outside when I thought everyone was safe.
