If you can´t help, go away-
Architect>Zone>Allow(Shrink) Area (the one you just created) Exclude your freezer
and then Assign Tab, set your glutton to that new area (careful, he will starve very soon with no access to food)
(if I made a mistake, feel free to correct me guys, I am quite new to RimWorld and game is off.)
What's wrong with yer guy? If it's a mental break ya got 2 options. 1. arrest em 2. wait it out. If it's gut worms then ya got two options. 1. get rid of the stomach 2. wait it out. Welcome to the rim!
Ironic isn't it that this person actually answered your question but the Rim is such a harsh place the answer sounds like he's trolling you.
To answer your question; getting rid of the stomach is one way, arresting the pawn is another....you can also exile him/her (which is kinda drastic)
If it's a mental break I like to use the "snap out of it" mod to try calming a pawn down before I go over to arrest him/her. Alternatively I'll try to use non-lethal weaponry to knock them out (there's mods for that too), trying to cure it outright with Rimworld of Magic. However if everything fails and I'm low on food (yes sometimes I just let them have at it) I won't blink twice to try to knock them out then amputate their legs (less chance of critical failure, resulting in death)
However....due to deworm drugs; I hardly ever get gutworms unless I'm REALLY early game.
- Create the zone. We'll call it "Gluttony" for this example.
- In the zone management (manage areas thing), edit the zone and Invert it, so that instead of covering none of the map it now covers all of the map.
- then use the Exclude Area function to mark the freeezer as a place that isn't in the Gluttony zone. :-)
- then assign your pawn to that Zone.
Your instructions were good, but without inverting the area to flip it over to covering the opposite, it doesn't work.
However, this has a useful side-effect. The other way of doing it is creating a zone, set it to *cover* the areas you'll want forbidden - and then invert it. ^_^
Without the additional information to explain that this would be a solution to the Gut Worms disease, and that the stomach isn't considered to be a vital organ in the game, then of course it looks like trolling.
Q. "The local kids keep walking on my front lawn. What kind of fence should I use to best stop them doing this?"
A. "Disembowel the children."
Like, if a conversation went like this piece of absurdity above then *technically* the solution would work, but isn't generally considered to be a helpful answer, y'know? :-p
This makes them hungry twice as quickly, but shouldn't result in them eating lots of meals at a time.
You could try using a Nutrient Paste Dispenser ( https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Nutrient_paste_dispenser ), and also adjust their Food restrictions so they won't eat other meals, as the Nutrient Paste is more efficient (so they won't use as much raw food).

Alternately, if it's not Gut Worms then there are a few other things that might be causing them to eat more than normal:
A pawn who's consumed Smokeleaf Joints ( https://www.rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Smokeleaf_joint ) will become hungry faster.
A pawn having the 'Food Binge' Mental Break will go and eat a lot of food. https://www.rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Mental_break#Food_binge
A pawn with the 'Gourmand' Trait will sometimes eat a lot, and is more likely to have a Food Binge than other pawns. https://www.rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Traits#General_Traits
Sounds totally viable to me to disembowl those children....
In Rimworld I mean xD
And I was more pointing out how rimworld has some REALLY unethical solutions for some really mundane problems that (because of the way the game works) can become totally infuriating up to the point someone actually deals with a problem like this in that particular fashion....
Also; I understood the question which is why I answered with a common practise for dealing with drug addiction in rimworld...just remove the legs...can't get into a freezer with no legs :P
