64-bit lag

For some reason, Rimworld will not use more than 2.2GB out of the 6GB of RAM I have installed. I'm running 64-bit windows, 64-bit Rimworld, have nothing but Bitdefender running in the background (no bloatware as my SSD has a fresh install of windows 10,) and my CPU is only topping out at 23%. Despite all this, I'm getting maybe 5FPS. What gives?

Yes I play with a lot of mods, but my system isn't even attempting to utilize the resources availible to it.

You can increase priority of Rimworld via Task Manager, and your computer aughta devote more resources to it. I'd only set it to 'High' and not 'Realtime' since I heard someone say that can screw things up.

If it doesn't happen when you use no mods, then it's an issue with your mods.

i still believe it is your CPU that limits the speed of the game. rimworld only uses 1 core, even high quality games only uses few cores.
your CPU usage is at 23%, i asume it is '23% of all cores', look at each core on their own, rimworld might be using 100% of one of your cores.

what CPU do you use?
