how to remove the orange tips bar

Orange tips bar...? The Learning Helper?

You can turn that off in the options.

you can also close the list so it's just the small bar so it doesn't block there research list or just click and drag it around to my knowledge iirc.

for each tip right click them and there should be an option 'mark as learnt'

go into options and there should be a button that says remove learning helper i think :D

Bottom right corner, there is an option to turn the helper off.
