Could not load reference to Verse.ThingDef named Gun_Fire_Ext
Debug log
1 Rimworld 1.0.2150 rev801
2 Could not load reference to Verse.ThingDef named Gun_Fire_Ext

All my mods that I have downloaded are checked with a X (no mod activated) and I get this error when I click on "New colony"...
Why ?
What is that ?
How do I solve this ?

Not uninstall, delete. Uninstall only removes files Steam expects to be there for the current version of the game, it doesn't remove extra files.

Though I just realized that if it happens when you click "New Colony" it's actually more likely a scenario thing. You probably have a saved scenario which added a "Gun_Fire_Ext" whatever to the starting items. Just delete that scenario, or edit it, or ignore it because if that's what it is it's harmless.

Restart the game one more time, there are usually "leftover" references after you remove mods and restart only once.

If you've restarted several times then you may have placed mod files inside your core and they are being loaded with the main game files, delete the core folder and do a file verification.

I'm amateur in this. You got Core checked at very top, right? You can use steam to check game is validated. (just remember all those mods names and location before doing that).

I uninstall and redownloaded the whole game and I still have the same error somehow...
and yes, obviously, the Core is checked positive..
