Missing Stone Floors
Hello! I could really use some help. I've researched quite a bit of tech and have researched the "Stone Cutting" technology, but for some reason stone flooring of any kind is not appearing in my architect. I even have a mod that allows me to manually type in something and search through the architect for it, but it's not showing up there either. I've verified the Game Cache, and ensured that I had all the proper tech researched, but they're just gone. I've never had this issue before, but this is also my first time playing since 1.0 launched (I took a long hiatus from the game) so I thought maybe something changed that I just didn't know about, or perhaps there's some how a conflict. Anyways, any help would be very much appreciated.

Do you have *actual stock* of cut stone blocks?
Until your have some in a stockpile, that material will not show up in the builder menus.
No stones at all = no stone floors selectable.

Yep, literally hundreds of almost every type in the game that I've mined or purchased for the sole purpose of building a nice looking road network around my colony. Hell, I even built an entire Stone Workshop in order to turn chunks into usable stone.

cut stone "blocks", not raw stone "chunks"?
I.e. stone blocks made at the stonecutter's table?

I mean I just said I built an entire workshop dedicated to that purpose, so yes.

Are they in a stockpile in home area?

Yep. Keep 'em stored in a stockpile room outside the workshop in the main base.

A picture might help. Are you able to bring up the floors tab or is it gone entirely?

It's most likely a mod issue, possibly an outdated mod trying to overwrite the stone floors with non-functioning data. Could also be corrupt base game files, verifying the cache doesn't fix all problems since it doesn't do a detailed sweep of the folders. If you have the issue without any mods installed then trying deleting your RimWorld folder and then doing another file verification, that should ensure you have clean game files.

That would be true if we were talking about stone walls or furniture, the game wont show the "stuff" options for resources you don't have if there are other valid ingredients on the map. It doesn't apply to stone floors since they are their own building type. If you don't have any of the resources for a building type it will show a default recipe, like for example crematoriums will default to granite if you don't have enough of any stone blocks, and walls will default to wood if you have nothing else, even if you have no wood. He should be seeing the stone floors in the build menu whether he has stone blocks or not, if they aren't showing up something is broken.
So I toyed around a bit with things and figured out that it was a bug. Somehow the Jade versions of everything overrode the stone, so removing the Jade fixed it. Weirdest bug I've ever seen, but I'm just glad I finally manged to do something about it.

It's not at all weird for outdated mods to break the game like that. That's why they are listed in red in the mod list.

Even if you do not have any cut stone blocks, the flooring should appear in the builder menu once you research stonecutting. It's definately a mod doing it to you bud.
