Prisoner Clothing
Is it possible to give prisoners clothing so they aren't naked and feeling bad?

Related story, the wife of one of my colonists got captured and I found her on a raid. She got killed sadly, but I did have a revive mech serum on hand. Brought her body back, but someone stripped her while she was dead. Now I'm trying to recruit her back.

Dump zone in the cell will do the trick.

Or take one of your colonist in mobilisation mode and go in the cell. Force him to throw away his clothing. This way you can chose teh clothing you use. I don't like much giving my excelent elephant shirt to a prisoner I might release.

PS: It was a woman in the cell. I think she had misinterpreting the intention of the male colonist taking his pant off. :D

You can also send your prisoner, one colonist and whatever clothing you want to give them on a one-tile caravan, pause, go into the "gear" tab of your caravan, dress your prisoner, then immediately return to the colony.

I use this to get rid of that annoying "tattered clothing" debuff on my prisoners. It doesn't help that the Medieval Times mod adds socks+shoes+gloves, and seemingly EVERY raider has terrible hand+footwear that makes them cranky.

Have you ever had to break in a pair of leather shoes!? Man I cannot blame them....

Maybe they can skimp on the Doomsday Rocket Launcher budget and buy some decent shoes instead!

The easiest, most efficient way I have come up with to give prisoners clothes, but not the good stuff is to have a shelf in prison. Then set your tailor to make tribal wear until you have 1 stored. This means you will always have at least 1 clothing set for a new prisoner.

IE - if you get a prisoner, it moves in, puts on the tribal wear, and this triggers the tailor to make another one for the next prisoner.

You can adjust the filters on your prison clothes stockpile to give them exactly the items you want.

You can also strip colonists at any time to get rid of their tattered clothes or armor. I suggest waiting until they are sleeping so they don't start instantly putting it all back on, that way you can quickly haul it out and give them some cheap tribalwear to equip when they wake up.

I put a stockpile in there with T shirts and pants. If you ue Apparello, you can pick one type or another and make it out of a certain color fabric (with dye pots etc) and have like.. prisoner putton downs and jeans,or something like that. Otherwise I just give them the trandomtshirts n pants I accumulate.

You can also just strip themin cellsand take their armor and leave the rest of their crap in there, they might pick it back up and wear it again. (or youllsee themall try to rush for each others clothes)
