how to keep my animals out of the hospital?
is there a way to restrict the movement of my animals to stay out of a certain area? i can only find out how to assign them to a certain area, but id sort of like to do the opposite. I only need to keep them out of hospital and research lab to keep them clean, but still want them to roam freely everywhere else

There's an "Invert" option in the area management menu. Draw areas over where you don't want them, hit invert, then assign them to it.

Normally, you'd restrict animals to an animal zone or zones that you create, but if you just want to exclude one area and allow everywhere else, then just create the animal zone within the hospital area and then invert it.
thank you

Hospital and also prison. I learned this the hard way - I had a bunch of huskies trained to haul and set them to "unrestricted" so they could haul all the things. But one of my good girls kept wandering into my prison and the prisoners would beat her up. T_T

I never use this myself. All of my animals are restricted to their own animals zones and I don't use prisons anyway ;)

Prisons, crops, food supplies, hospitals, recreation room, and personal rooms.. my restricted rooms for animals. They can go into the main storage rooms for hauling purposes, but have to stay out of food and drug storage areas.
