You dont feed the manually if that's what you mean,

Put out food someplace in an area they can reach. Kibble and raw meats are easy good options. Any 1x1 stockpile or shelf will work for that.

Of note is that they'll also automatically get fed during training, so that helps a bit.

Note as well that they'll eat anything that is within their reach. You may put a few stacks of kibble around for them, but if they see your fine meals and have access to them, you'll have kibble for dinner.

Kibble, or let them into your freezer to consume your food, let them hunt. They eat meat, let them near sources of meat.
