Is it possible to build walls on mud?
Question in title. Started boreal forest for the first time and want to plan my colony a bit in advance. Thanks!

Moisture pump turns it into dry land.

You are able to build bridge flooring first and then build walls on top of that.

Be aware that you can not build super heavy things on that bridge flooring. Think the electric crematorium is such an item and maybe the high tech research, likely others as well.

The moisture pump is the better long term solution as you will have no restrictions after that has dried. It just takes a long time.

And keep in mind that the no matter what material you build the wall the brigde is always wood or bamboo so it is vulnerable to attacks or fire.
