Wild animals and closed doors
Long time player coming back for the wonderful update here.
I just noticed that wild starving rabbits in the ice sheet biome can open my door to snacc at my meals. Am I correct in remembering that wild animals used to not being able to open closed doors?
Since manhunting animals still can't hunt colonists indoors, I assume this to be strictly related to wild animal starvation.

I need to brush up on what's what here.

That would be... disconcerting if true.

No mods? You've actually "seen" them open a door? (Can get confusing at times if you have a really large base.)

No mods active at all.
Took a sceenshot of a sneaky boi getting in while I hunted for its friend that recently snuck both in and out.

Later I posted the guy with the plasteel knife at the door and got 5 yummies for the fridge.

I love that pic. That huge arrow pointing at that rabit like it's a clip from a bank heist video...

"If you've seen this criminal, please call 1-800-Crimestoppers."

Like "loot delivery" courtesy of "Primitive Faction" Raiders...

This has got to be a bug. If intentional, maybe "locked doors" are now supposed to be animal-proof? Seems needlessly complicated and too micromanagement-like if so. "Starvation" is enough to encourage Hunting already.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

OH, yes that would be it. This is a squatting operation.

Excellent troubleshooting, there! I forgot all about that. :) (Not surprised...)
