Stoneskin Gland negative effect

-2 Beauty to pawn, is that equivalent to some trait so I can surmise the effect on the colony cohesiveness and inter-relationship play between pawns.

Since it's beauty related I'd guess it could be like the "ugly" trait or "staggering ugly" but not sure, and which of them if any would be the closest comparison?

Got one and is pondering whom to give it to. But that's a different matter.

I have a colonist using an Aesthetic Shaper and Aesthetic Nose which has a combined value of +2 beauty, giving everyone +40 opinion towards them.

I assume Stoneskin Gland would have the opposite outcome, -40 opinion.

If correct, you should be able to cancel the negative out with the aesthetic augments if you want a tanky colonist without everyone hating them.

Ya it should work as Pizzarugi assumed. The "Beautiful" trait adds +2 to pawn beauty, the "Staggeringly Ugly" trait subtracts -2 from beauty, so the implants should work like those traits. The wiki also suggests pawn beauty effects pawn wealth, -40% for staggeringly ugly, +40% for beautiful, so there is a tradeoff there. I don't know what happens at +/- 3/4 beauty, it might cap at 40 points in either direction, or it might go up to 80.
