How to remove mechanoid raids?
As the title suggests, I really dislike mechanoid raids. I had a mod for 1.0 that disabled them but there isn't one for 1.1.

They literally did more damage than what a couple mortars can do, with only two pikemen.
Best way to remove? I know i'm a ♥♥♥♥♥ for doing this but god ♥♥♥♥ mechanoids

Really not the best solution but maybe look into the game files and delete the mech part or use dev destroy on them

start a new colony, right when you choose your scenario, lower hand 'editor', left side 'edit mode'.

you are looking for disable incidient, there choose mech cluster

Gah, both good solutions but I don't want to restart my colony again to do this- but it'll be useful for future colonies. Thanks!

I'm on about entirely, so no ship part landings (those are just mechanoid sieges in disguise smh)- the mod you listed is one of the few I looked into but it doesn't completely remove the damn mechanoid threat (I'm 100% OK w/ ancient dangers, though)

@beria you can edit the savegame, create a new colony with the mod you want, open both savegames in a text editor (i prefere notepad++), seach for the name of the modification you want in the new file, look where it is placed, search for exact that location in the first file, and copy the code over

Well in your game,

Open the Options Menu, find the tab called "Story Teller Difficulty"
Pick the option below Medium difficulty.

That should stop difficult raids from occuring.
