Techprint?
Hey what dose techprint actualy do? I got one for compact weaponry but it didnt give me the research and the cost still says 3000.

i right clicked and used it, but still nothing. I dont have microelectronics. Should it just give me the research?

You need both research and techprint.

From what I understand (I could be wrong), it unlocks a research that is normally not avalable.

i see so getting the techprint gives me hidden research

I would also like to add, duplicate techprints will give some progress to that research (I've only done it once, it gave 1/3 of the research points needed. what another would do idk). And I wouldn't call them hidden research, they are visible on the tech tree at any point in the game. But it looks like you get the gist of it anyway.
