Can't download Royalty DLC

i am gamesharing with a different profile that has bought the DLC, but i cant seam to downlopad the game, it just tries to make me buy it again

it's account specific....AKA each copy of Rimworld needs a purchased DLC, you can't just have the game and DLC on one account and expect it to transfer over.

You can with family sharing. I do this too and works for every other game with dlc's.

tbh the DLC for this game was kind of funny.

It might already be installed. look where you'd normally look for mods.

If it's the Royalty expansion specifically, then: https://store.steampowered.com/promotion/familysharing#FAQ

Otherwise, check with your 'family' member (or friend, etc) that the sharing is set up correctly - if you have a new PC, for example, it'll need to be re-set up to be accessible on your new computer.
