Initialize Steam API

Hi commuunity, since the new version I get the API error again. The Exit Steam strategy doesnt work. I have restarted my machine several times - no dice.

At a loss here, worked fine before 1.1 and system hasnt changed.
Any help appretiated!

Can someone maybe have a look into their appid.txt file and let me know which number it contains and where it is supposed to be?

steam_appid.txt is located where rimworldwin64.exe is located and the number is 294100.

default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld

tip: if you go into steam settings -> interface, you can enable to show url in the adress bar and that very same number is in the link https://steamcommunity.com/app/294100/discussions/0/1750150007020123037/ as seen here in this discussion link.

So my appid.txt was missing, so I added it, I ran both Steam and Rimworld as Admin and still no dice. Also checked the mods folder, its definitely still there too, with all subs. Already validated all files.... not quite sure where to go next.

I'm experiencing the same issues here - tried everything from reinstalling the game to running as admin etc. nothing seems to work - have also tried to search the ludeon.com/forums, but didn't find any solutions :/

Make a bug report - support request instead i would recommend.
