Monument marker can't be placed?

After I accepted the quest of building a monument, I received a monument marker which I need to install it somewhere. But when I tried to place it, there will always be some red blocks stopping me from placing it. Is it because of my mods that caused it?

Is this part of Royalty? Or is this, perhaps a piece of artwork. I'm not familiar with the monument, but it could be mods, or it could be something like the monument needs to be placed on ground that supports "heavy" structures above it. If that's the case, then you have to find some solid ground to put it on. Try indoors in a cleared out room with stone floors to see if it can go there. Otherwise, I'm sure others here will have better information for you.

Just make sure you are placing it on completely open ground - and no part of it can be on water or marsh. Trees might also block it (when I placed mine, there were no trees). Then you click "Place Blueprint" and it creates the placeholders for the items that actually need to be built.
