Yes, but you will have to build new ones on the spot. Just send some steel, components and chemfuel, and somebody with high enough construction if needed.

Unless they changed it in 1.0, no it is a one way ticket. If you have mods that allow you to encounter resources on random maps, however, you can build new transport pods.

if you build one at the enemy base, then yes.

i have to built 1 pod launcher, 1 transport pod, and have enough fuel for each person, is it possible to fit everything (go and back) into 1 pod ?

Transport pods:
Launcher = 70 steel, 1 component
Pod = 60 steel, 1 component, 75-150 chemfuel per launch.
Pod cargo capacity = 150kg each.
70steel+60steel + 2 components + 150 chemfuel = 65kg+1.2kg+7.5kg = 73.7kg.
.
Meaning that using ONE launcher and pod, you can transport enough materials to build TWO launchers with a pod each, fully fuelled, and still have mass budget to pack a couple snickers bars for snacks. (batteries and operator not included).

YES you can if you loaded the CARGO POD mod.
Land on the enemy base, raze their buildings and when you are done just ride the cargo pod back to your base (as long as it has enough fuel)

that mean u cant ship 1 man and 1 return pod with a pod ? min 2 pods for 1 or 2 man ?

If it's wracking your noodle, just download one of the many mods that alters this.

Apparently, it means you need to ask your math teacher for a refund.

I understand your question but basically it comes down to this --- send enough people and supplies to get the job done.

This includes rebuilding the pods back at home, and re-stocking them with additional supplies if necessary.

For example, you can see that when the raiders try to seige your base, they arrive first, and then the supplies they need to build the mortars and sandbags arrives after they do.

In the same way, you can prepare some pods with the necessary supplies, and then a second set of pods with the people. Once the people arrive, then send the first group of pods that everyone helped to load up, secondly. You can also load it secondly and send the pods secondly, but with a reduced number of colonists back at home, it might take longer to load up.

I usually build 6-10 pod launchers. This allows me to get 6-10 colonists, plus any animals, out to where they need to go. Then I use the remaining colonists to help load up emergency supplies as needed, such as food. By the time the caravan group needs any food, then the pods have been loaded up. Or in the case of attacking, then there would be steel and other supplies.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
