Healing old gunshot in torso

Is it possible guys? I suppose if my pawn had gunshot in the arm or leg, prosthetics of the arm or leg would do the trick to get rid off the pain, but what to do with the torso? I'm still playing my 1st colony so I don't really want to experiment with mods.

Should I live with it being uncurable or is there a way?

There are ways to heal it without mods, but they aren't worth it. Healer mech serums are a rare world quest item that will heal any one injury, including scars, but it's usually best saved for like brain damage or things that have an actual negative effect. Luciferium can heal most things over time, but you need to dose them every few days for the rest of the game or they die, and it's expensive and hard to find.

I would say just live with it, it's not a big deal.
