do moisture pumps make rich soil....eventually?
i left a pump on in my permanent winter run and i noticed rich soil were the mud was...and all in its area....so does it make rich soil anywere?

Not that I'm aware of. My best guess is that mud is an extra "floor" added on top of whatever dirt was originally there at generation.

There are a number of mods that let you create fertile soil. Some are more overpowered than others, but to officially answer your question - no. Sounds more like what micro said in that it was already there.

I often notice a thin ring of rich soil surrounding muddy areas. The mud should convert to normal soil with the moisture pump, but the ring of rich soil will remain. It is my guess that this is what you found.
