any way to repair scars?
i used to use epoe to repair scars but now i can't. i get losing fingers and repairing was OP, but not being able to repair scar tissue sucks, i can replace limbs (etc.) but can't treat scars :(

are there alternatives? can't seem to find any...

You can also (in theory) use Healer Mech Serums to heal scars, as long as the relevant colonist doesn't have any other ailments that the game considers "more serious." Usually, this is only cost-effective for things like Brain scars, but it would work for other scars if you are rolling in Mech Serums.

(this for lost fingers, limbs, organs, etc.)

(this is for permanent injuries in a more passive way of restoring them through a balanced, reliable luciferium supply for everyone - don't bother creating glitterworld medicine, it's overpriced, buy it from traders till you can build the regen bay)

No, it does not heal destroyed body parts.

EPOE also has a Tissue Printer that allows you to create artificial skin which can be used to remove scars.

Unless one of your guys has 10 scars i dont see the need to remove them so badly, I would only use the healer mech Serums for brain damage since that cant be replaced with a bionic part.

I have seen it on quests as well as being sold at villages/towns, but those same towns do not often send caravans that have it. So you may need to visit the town specifically, to buy it.

Keep in mind that one way to remove scars from limbs, is to replace those limbs! Especially with bionic limbs, if possible.

RBSE uses glittertech meds to cure scars. ive always used that medical mod and not the other, but im going to assume as they both do the same things they'd foul the game if you tried to use both

i have never heard of that one, i will check it out. i like the idea of using glittertech for that, it gives it a use again - i've never really needed to use glitter for anything!

The acronyms EPOE and RBSE, what do those mean?

Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering
Rah's Bionics and Surgery Expansion

They have become mostly redundant mods in the 5 years since this thread was made.

Even if it did heal everything and it does't, it's a case of the cure being worse then the disease.
