Bedrooms though, dunno, I put a pawn into a closet that had just a bed and didn't notice anything in the mood tab after 2 nights.
As for common rooms (kitchen, dining, recreation) I tend to build them next to one another and don't put doors inbetween. They'll see is as one much bigger room as opposed to several smaller ones.
Mine are 3x4. I think the buffs and debuffs don't consider size and impressiveness individually. So if a small room is filled with beautiful furniture, it will still be impressive, no matter the size. My rooms usually have a rating around 50, ("almost impressive") that's good enough for me and my pawns 😅
Alright it mean to me I have more space for my base :) ty for the answers
As said nicer stuff in there room does help but it also raises your wealth which in turn makes enemy factions jealous. I have one pawn that has Awful bedroom no matter what I do. She is such a pain. I make my bedrooms 5x6. Seems to work fro my pawns quite well.
With that then go for the impressive bedroom buff. They feel better most of the day and are more productive IMHO.
I try to give them at least the decent bedroom buff and get better beds for the comfortable buff later ingame.
The happier the pawn the less breaks and more work done. Small things make a big difference. Like making Fine meals on occasion.
Ah ? okidoki, so I can keep making either 4*4 generic room but making 7*7 room may still be useful for mood buff then.
Will still observe this topic for confirmations. As well to test it right now
If I forced them into their bed closets (1x2 and 2x2)by limiting their allowed area, then they got the (cramped/confined interior) debuff but otherwise it was absent.
Sometimes they even carried the spacious interior buff from outside to their closet.
Vanilla, no ascetic or any other trait that might have an effect.
Oh yes the Greedy and Jealous pawns are hard to please. I had to laugh one of my Aesthetic pawns got married and moved in husbands room. Permanent debuff because the room was slightly impressive. Husband was happy! Geez please some but not all! LOL
I think the game has a hidden opposites attract mechanic built in lol.
