How to stop colonists from eating raw meat and animals?

I'm surviving in an extreme desert, I'm using a mod which allows fishing, I have one colonist who is any good at cooking and handling (handling is needed for fishing). So the problem I have is that each fish is 4 meat, it takes 10 meat to make a simple meal, so while my one colonist is catching the 3 fish needed for one meal, people are coming into the food stores to eat the raw fish, since i'm barely producing enough food for 2 people, let alone 5. I've partially dealt with this by having multiple butchering points, so instead of having my 4 colonists trying to eat the raw fish, I prioritize them to butcher. But sometimes we run out of fish to butcher, so then the next fish I catch they go to try and eat it.

The problem I have is that I really don't want to have to micro the ♥♥♥♥ out of all my colonists, does anyone know of anyway to just not allow colonists to eat raw meat or animals? I am playing as a tribe as an fyi.

I think your issue should be more focused to gather enough food so that your colony has enough food to even function. You might want to have all of your members fishing til you start having a surplus or start farming.

In your situation you might have to do a little microing at the start. As long as you have meals, your colonists shouldn't eat raw food, but until then just forbid the stacks of fish until you have enough to start cooking.

you could make some kind of forbidden zone for raw fish so colonists cant get to the raw food until it is cooked.
