Where are my gloves and boots?

Im okay with this being .19 and not the promised 1.0. If anything that means that there still might be something truely new or interesting added to the game. But really whats with all the dumbing down? Why are we taking things OUT of the game, instead of adding more to it? I played my new colony for about a day before i realized what was missing. About the time you know when all the stuff your pawns show up with starts to wear out and they start complaining. Then i started looking at what they were wearing, and uhm realized not a single one had shoes or gloves of any sort. So I checked the merchants as they showed up and they didnt have any for sell either. No combat boots, no socks, no mittens, bracers, winter gloves, gauntlets, nothing. So I built the sewing machine and checked to see what i could make and none of the recipes are there for any of it. Just Hats Pants and Shirts. Please can I have my gloves and boots back? my pawns really like having hands, fingers, feet, and toes!

tl;dr Gloves and boots sound like from a mod you used.

sigh i guess they were, just loaded up A16 dev moded and looked through the place things list and no shoes or gloves or any of that. I had no idea they were mod added, rant recanted. But i still miss my shoes =(

It's OK. The modder will eventually update. I actually don't like the idea of glvoes since I dont like the idea of frostbite killing fingers, but I have to admit gloves make sense.

are you using the medieval mod? Its outdated at the moment and it includes all those things you listed.

@ Lux yes i was using that mod, i knew alot of armors and weapons came from it, didnt realize my socks and gloves and stuff also came from there. funny when you cant tell whats from a mod and whats part of the origional game anymore, guess that speaks to the quality of our modders = )
