Any real disadvantage to bionic arms/legs?
Since it is possible to craft them now.

In my experience (ive given everyone new eyes, legs, arms, stomachs, and spines) no negative debuff for anyone that isnt prosthophobic

Nope.

I assume they greatly increase the value of the pawn and therefore colony wealth will be maintained, but maintained in a way you can't just lose if the game gets too hard without removing the bionic limb. So, if you put the limb on a healthy pawn, and get rid of the bionic, and it was a pawn that could fight, then you end up with a less powerful colony per silver value. So when you sell the bionic limb you'd need to build a generator and a couple turrets or something to make up for that, before losing the rest of the silver on a caravan or something.

There, I think I did it, I answered your question.

Any attempt surgery can be botched. An aritificial limb on a pawn that doesn't want it will give a mood debuff to that pawn. While the pawn recovers from anesthesia, he/she is unavailable to help fight.

These are not big downsides, but yes, there are downsides.

Unless you have the Bionics mod installed then it increases the parts handling and what not

I wouldn't do everybody the same. Custom manufacture. Make one fast brawler (2 legs) for chasing down that raider you really want to capture, etc.

And is there any benefit to 2 power claws or do they only need one?

Seems to me they just keep getting mental breakdowns...

I've heard the main danger is increased wealth, although is that really a problem? It just means more test subjects for the defense systems.

Implants causing a mood hit to non-body purists is a mechanic of the Psychology mod I believe, sometimes people get confused about mod mechanics and base game mechanics. Base game there is no mood hit unless they are a body purist, no matter how many implants you install.

No, the wealth value of implants is generally trivial compared to overall colony wealth. A full archotech colonist only adds like 20k, which is similar to a set of high quality equipment, and is a drop in the bucket at that stage of the game when your colony is often worth millions.

Even very early game if you were to say use Prepare Carefully to deck out a colonist or two in implants, the benefit they provide would generally outweigh the wealth increase.

General note:

Legs are good for literally everyone. All colonists need to walk, irrespective of colony and installed mods. There is no reason (except body purist) not to put a bionic leg on a colonist if you can. Other bionics you need to look at what your colonist does.
