Taming Muffalo for milk, wool, money, and progress.
Ever since I saw let's plays of rim world, I was always fanscinated with muffalos role in agricultre.

So, I wanted to ask, when can I harvest their wool for clothing? I get milk every two days, but, no wool yet.

Also I saw their price once when a trader came to talk, encourage me to tame more considering their so easy to handle.

Aside from animal practice, any other use?

You can see milk and wool fullness on their info tab. It takes 25 days for them to grow wool.
And it's weird that they have no wool upon taming)

Besides producs, moofalo are good military unit, easy to train hard to kill. Thay are allergic to machinegun fire, because they eat all stray shots, but once they get into melee, they are bad news for raiders.

Their bullet tanks and one of the best animals for caravan w their pretty good carry capacity. So you got a tank, mill, wool, large carry capacity for caravan travel.

With just 2 and enough time, you will have tons of muffalos. I got around 40-60 of them from just 2 I tamed.

muffaloo can carry a ton of weight when in a caravan. So can say camels (They give milk too and wool), but not nearly as much carry weight.

They're pretty okay, but after a while in rimworld you can get a bit tired of muffaloo since you see them everywhere. And it can be fun to change it up with other carry animals like say alpaca, camels, elephants, ect.

welcome to the Muffalo Master Race. Get ready to build a religion about these great beast.

Go and train your herd for battle...
Yeah you saw that right. They can take a lot of bullets and you want to eat some of them anyway. These are 2 problems that solve each other

If you're running multiple colonies, muffalo are the ideal transportation mechanism. I currently keep two colonies, one for growing, one for mining. Muffalo brings food, brings steel and blocks back.

As previously mentioned, they are descent security against mid game drop pirates that land in the middle of your base.
