Is there a mod for 1.0 that makes cold snaps and heat waves harshier?

Not exactly, what you're looking for, but if you're looking to experiece both extreme tempertures on one map. You can crank up settings on Climate cycle.

Already done extreme desert, not too harsh temperatures as i was expecting . Also it's surprising that there's no such mod.

I was hoping that the Reworked Temperature Extreme Events would do that, but no update yet.

I had posted code that would have functioned like a normal cold snap (-20C) for 82% of the time. But if you rolled unlucky, you could see as low as -60C adjustment to the ambient temperature.

Yeah, i saw this particular mod, but it actually make is easier. I want the opposite ))
