What are the best items for training crafting?
I got a colonist with just one level too short of crafting to make medicine, and I wanted to know the best items for levelling it up. Rn I'm making wooden gladiuses, but is there anything better?

Cutting stone, melting down slag, making chemfuel, rolling joints, and making components(maybe)

Requires crafting 8 which is double what medicine requires.

Dunno about best, but since pawn gets constant xp when crafting, anything that takes forever to build would be my guess.
When I started with 0 crafting pawn, I had they do whatever was available at crafting spot with bit of tailoring whenever I had the material.
At 3 or lower crafting though, your options are limited so anything you can do is best.

Clothes are always in demand. Make more than your colonists need. Clothes also sell well.

I always have an abundance of material. Either early game hunting animals like crazy for leathers, and/or planting a big cotton field. Or mid game with a huge devilstrand field going.

I have a couple leathers I hold on to for my colonists, such as fur from the tougher animals; heavy fur, panthera, bear, wolf, and devilstrand/hyperweave.

And all the lighter stuff like birdskin lightleather, patchleather, wool, etc, gets made into dusters forever to train crafting and make a profit.

You either make something you need for which you don't care about quality (some would say clothes, I'd say shells/grenades that I think do train crafting unlike stone blocks), or something that's relatively worthless to you, costs few materials, and takes a lot of work to produce anything, in which case I think wooden plate armor would be a good choice, or once again clothing to sell out of all the trash materials.
