Also, grenades are weapons and they drop on the floor. They don't stay on the body so youd never end up cremating those by mistake, you'd have to set an order to do that.
Well.. no. You know there isn't. Base game players don't need or want it. Talk to the mod maker. I'm sure he can fix that with little effort.
He could add a tick box menu to corpses where you can choose what to strip when burning.. Probably most would like to see that to be fair. I'll take a dead man's power armor for sure.
The only reason you might want tainted stuff is if its really good equipment and dont mind the mood loss. This means auto destruction on cremating is totally fine in the base game.
You'll want to address the mod maker here.
mod would be nice for it :) no one linked one so will go look ^^
pretty sure that didn't happen for me last playthrough, but i surely most be wrong if it is in hte code (personally i want pawns to "take to storage->strip->take stripped to storage" :)
As far as the issue the OP had a year ago when this thread was made, butchering is what you want to have setup for salvaging all the resources you can from corpses. Butchering strips the corpse and provides you with leather and meat at a slight mood penalty (you just need one colonist with 1 of like 5 different traits that counters the larger mood hit). Cremate is for quick disposal with no returns or penalty.
Or maybe this:

Edit: just realized its a necro, but the mod might still help someone else
It did used to be part of the game. But, now, selling Tainted clothing is no longer part of the game and pawns don't want/won't wear Tainted clothing.... so, "Stripping" as an auto-behavior just causes a mess as there isn't much you can easily do with those clothes anymore.
You can manually order it.
A mod might be able to alter that behavior.
There isn't as much a use for stripped, tainted, clothing in the base game as there used to be.
