Are cats useful ?
I though they could give a mood bonus or something but I don't see any changes so are they useful or should I just sell the cat I just bought ?

I think they nuzzle a lot, in difference to most other animals. Nuzzling gives that mood bonus which you mentioned.

Supposingly they'll hunt small game like rats and squirrels if you don't feed them. If you can find a corpse before it rots, then it's free meat.

Useful for making hats and mixing with rice to make fine meals.

"Are cats useful?"

I know it's a perfectly valid game-mechanics question, but I still suspect that every cat in the world is now offended. "Useful? We are cats!"

Lol, no.

Well I keep to have base cooler, but yea not really useful, even if he gave a + mood to a pawn missing good mood

Maybe you can confine cats to a workshop or dining hall where lots of people will gather .

Cats have the same function as yorks and monkeys, they are weak and useless. Their only use is to nuzzle people giving a mood boost. I keep like 4 cats 1 male 3 females breeding, and always sell the offspring.

I would say their advantage is they dont consume as much food as the haul animals, pig/ big dog, so its up to you depends on your economy

In a game about generating stories a lot of what I do I wouldn't necessarily characterize as useful. ;)

Truly, any modset with specifics in mind can only benefit from cults mod.

The bottom line, it adds religion and questionable ethics. Both are fun in the chaotic mess that we call rimworld

Turning cats into rapemachines and people undead, etc is just a plus.
