What to do with Visitors

I'm curious, is there some way to interact with non-trading visitors? I'm not entirely sure what the point of their presence is, unless it's to attack them. My pawns prefer to make friends, so...


Also, curious--how many colonists can you eventually have? I've never seen more than 8, that I can recall.

Visitors doesn’t do anything’ll unless you got the mod that allow you to entertain/ recruit them.

Not sure what the total amt the game limits but I’m at 52 and still hunting for more specialist. There is some loading times but that might be because I have loads of animals too.

they are there for the hospitality mod to interact with them.

That or send a happy rocket to their room in a "thank you way".
