Telescopes?

What tech/workbenches make these things? My people are complaining about needing one for recreation every since I upgrade their rec room! Can't find the things anywhere.

They are not craftable. Traders bring them, sometimes.

That explains a lot, that'll be expensive lol, thanks! So they just sit in storage until one of my people decides to take and use it?

Place them the same way you would any other item. Press B to place, one of your colonists will haul it there and set it up. At that point anyone who wants to use it can.

Those you have to trade as well as the mega screen tv. One major difference is that telescopes require to be placed outside. You might need multiple ones if your going for a bigger colony to prevent crowding.
