so, my second thought was, since i have the make camp mod, what if i sent one fast person and like one animal to camp right next to them, then sent the appropriate supplies to the CAMP through the launch pods. this could potentially include extra animals from our settlement to join the caravan, pod launchers and extra pods so they dont have to carry the silver back, etc. however i donnt know if the logistics of this would work with the mod, so any suggestions/ theories?
my last resort is just making the trip because like i said, 8000+ silver to carry back and 200 ish components to carry there, not to mention food for whoever goes with and medicine in case of injuries. all in all, its a long ass journey. but i want that silver...
I really hate how Rimworld vanilla often skip technological progress and have huge gaps. No land vehicles, but intercontinental highways. Trade by teleporting beams, no space ship transport. How the hell does their reality work. They have no shoes and always get their toes bitten off by squirrels, but they have power armor. WTF.
You can use this to launch more silver when you really wana buy that bionic arm for instance.
Just make an extra pod or two, launch crew, supplies and animals all in one go directly to the trade post and walk back, done. Just don't send stuff unsupervised is all.
