Is there a way to revive dead colonists/people?

I just had this really good colonist come in via drop pod die on me and I want to bring her back from the dead. I've heard that there is some rare serum that does this, but I don't know if it's from a mod or not. If it's in vanilla, how do I get it? If it's from a mod, which mod?

Freeze the body in a freezer till you can get one. You goal is to preserve the body. Colony pets may munch on the body so watch out for that.

I think it;s one of thos eitems you get for going out in carvans and raiding/destroying bandit outpost or supply stocks, etc.

Or maybe form ancient rooms.

Ok, thanks. Right now I have her body in my freezer, and I have it set so that my fox can't get to it.

Ok, thanks. Right now I have her body in my freezer, and I have it set so that my fox can't get to it.

She may have brain damage when she comes to.

There is also a healer serum you can use in attempt to mend this. However there is alsoa chacne that her preserve body will rez without brain damage.

You can build a sarcophagus in a freezer to help keep animals away from the frozen body.

I had an amazing colonist once but she got crushed by rocks, so no reviving her.

Just because no one said this it is only in 0.19 and 1.0 anything before won't have that revive iteam in it.

Just a curiousity.. what state can the body be in and still be able to be resurrected? I had a body frozen, and because of a mistake in zoning, one of my pets ate her head. Needless to say, I gave up on the idea of ressurection at that point and just buried her.

I'm assuming it was impossible to revive her after that point... right?

The condition of the body is xx/100. Just for arguement sake, if you revive a body at 20/100, will they be in critical condition and need immediate medical attention?

I checked the wiki, it seems the serum will work as long the body is not a skeleton. However, the chance to get brain injury is increased every day the corpse is still dead.
