Green symbol on colonist portrait
small green symbol over colonist portarait. looks like it could be a louse. but not sure, nothings in game shows me what it is or alerts me of an infesteation, its not spreading..wtf?

They are inspired, click on them and it should tell you why they are inspired with

Sounds like the lamp icon for an inspired pawn. You can hover over the icon to see what it is. You'll normally also get a notifier in the bottom right when a pawn is inspired.

First off, are you using mods?

Second, is the icon in the lower-right-hand corner of the colonist portrait? Does that colonist have an inspiration? If so, then the icon isn't a louse, it's a lightbulb, and is just a visual reminder that that pawn has an inspiration.
