Gender roles in romance updated?

I've spent about 30min searching the forums here and the developers own forums, but I've beeun unable to find any information on tihs: has the gender-based romance code been updated since that Rock Paper Shotgun article in June 2016?

Tynan indicated that the code was a placeholder at that time.

Anyone know what changes have been made since that point?

I'm not interested in anyone rehashing arguments about whether the article was or was not incendiary, just trying to find out what's what.

There has been changes since Alpha 15 what on the spot they are i never did bother looking into for that you might want to search the official forums.

But does it effect the gameplay in any way ? no .... some fall in love some do not, chances are highly effected by taints so finding out what triggers it is tricky.

Also ... does it really matter ?

Just a slight clarification;
RimWorld dosn't have gender (using the modern definition), only sex.
