Tonght's Stupid Question is about getting rid of "Learning Helper"
In the top right of the screen? It covers up descriptions of stuff, I'd like to have it gone but danged if I can figure out how to get that done. Any ideas?

I ignore it so much I hardly notice it's there.
What descriptions does it cover? The only info worth noting occurs much lower down the screen on the right.

on the startup or options screen, i believe there is a checkbox for turning off the helper.

Esc, options ---> unclick the green check arrow to the right of "Learning helper" under gameplay.

You know how you go to machine a sniper rifle or whatever? The description of what you're trying to build....the learning helper covers about 25% of that for me and I've got to try and guess the missing words lol

I hardly even notice it, I mean it is so small. Go to options

Haha, no problem! I have a habit of going through the options menu in every game I play just to see what's there. ^.^
