typically even if something is too heavy you should always be allowed to haul it via a task skill cooking/crafting/construction.

Make sure you have butchering on forever(i never found any reason for it to be anything less and set the priority to 1 for cooking). I have been hunting megasloths in my current game for the heavy fur/leather and have had the same issue when manually trying to move one of the corpses. Also using other races which have much less carry capacity.

Seriously it should automatically haul resources no matter the wieght to a workstation or spot. I guess you could build a WEAK butcher spot ontop of the megasloth, you only get 70% resources since it is not a workstation and is instead a spot.

Thanks for help, my man. I have butchering on forever.

Tried butcher spot idea, built it right on top of sloth, but when I tried to assign a pawn to butchering it, got a "prioritize hauling sloth" option, and pawn just hauled it and dropped it few squares away.

Cant figure out, must be bug...

You have to prioritise butchering by clicking on the spot, not the corpse
