Any way to create overhead mountain? (Mountain Roof)

i removed overhead mountain by 'Remove Roof' tool in dev mode.
and now i wonder is there any way to create overhead mountain where i want

ffs....really? Do you see that row of tabs at the top of the screen? One of those tabs is named 'workshop'...this is where all the mods for this game are located. I suggest you start looking there, or do you want ignis to do that for you? And then when he finds it (if there is one), he can subscribe to it for you, then play your game for you as well...

i did not meant to bother anyone. just asked if ignis can tell me the mods name as gently as i can.
many moders share there hard works which means there is so many mods on workshop

that asking was not compel. just asking to ignis to tell mods name if he know.
if he didnt remember the name or he did not want to tell, he could say 'can't remember'

i usually spend hours to searching fun mods for my game and none of that mods let me make overhead mountain.
so i just asked ignis about name. and that is all.
i can not get why you feel bad maybe you had bad day i guess. but i am sorry for what you felt.

I am sorry if my words made you butthurt. I understand your generation is used to having someone or something do things for you instead of doing something for yourself. If you have truly spent hours searching for such a mod and have not found one, then you should come to the conclusion that one simply doesn't exist.

As for your analysis of how I 'feel'...worry about your own feelings, since feelings are more important than facts or truth nowadays.

As far as I'm aware, there is no mod currently available which does that.

I'm also pretty sure that you can add overhead mountain in dev mode, I just can't remember the command to do it, since there are tons of them and I can't look at the game at this second.

as i tried 'create roof' , 'place things direct...' and 'set terrain' did not works
i read that brush tool (21x21 thing) might create roof
so i will go try that function

You can't build overhead mountain with dev mode AFAIK. I've tried many times over the years.

The only mod I know of that allows you to is this one: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1108968677

I've never tried it so I don't know how stable or balanced it is.

Don't be an ass. Sometimes mods are called funny things. It took me scrolling thru pages of subscribed mods because I couldn't remember what it was called or if it was a feature of a different mod. Expanded roofing is the mod and I have never had any issues with it.

i was testing this mod :). but thanks
as i tested this mod can't make overhead mountain.
it add new roof type called 'Thick Roof' to a game which work just as normal mountain.
thick roof can block mortar(tested) and drop pod(not tested) but as developer says it looks like need some maintenance work for preventing collapses.
and most importantly it does not show as mountain roof :/

on performance side.
as i tested, it looks like this mod does not take much RAM which not important when 1.0 came out (64 bit yay)
the memory gap between with mod and without mod was about 30~50Mb i guess

and on balance side.
i did not really played with this mod but since you need materials for building roofs and maintanence work. i think it looks balanced.

so if someone read this who want make mountain roof.
it seems you can not create overhead mountain on B18
and if you really need to block drop pod, mortal and don't care about name(Thick roof instead of mountain)
you should consider to install this mod

I mostly build underground so I haven't used thick roof. I have used scalable solar roofing which is part of this mod, and I am about to use transparent roofing for my farms since my climate is so cold all the time.

my colony is in underground too but i was removed some roof for farming room
and few hours after i wanted to move my farming room and since than i noticed i can not re build mountain roof
im not comfort with unmatching name but i should ignore that lol

btw i am so glad to find this light weighted nice mod.
