Best Road matarial?

Sandstone seems to stuck (Neutral) and concrete is ugly. I just need something hopefuly cheap for outside walking.

It seems fairly well balanced. If you want fast and cheap, it will be ugly. If you want beauty, it's gonna take a lot of materials or a lot of time, or some combination of both. I usually plop down something cheap for the movement boost, and (hope I survive to) replace it later...

Who cares what cheap roads look like, their purpose is to be fast to walk on. For rooms and areas that people spend time being around, you want to plop down art or flowers anyway.

Floor beauty isn't relevant outside. There is a beautiful/ugly surroundings mechanic that looks at nearby tiles to provide a buff or debuff, but the values on floors are trivial and wont really effect it at all. Even in a room once you get a single statue up the floor values become pointless.

If I'm not using modded floors I usually use a lot of concrete all over the place. It's perfectly fine.
