[fixed] got a weird bug, anyone have an idea whats causing it?
every now and again when one of my guys trys to build something, he builds it but backward.

the work left number goes up, the maintenance level from Fluffy's Breakdowns goes down, you get the point.

sorry for just dumping this on you guys, but with how many mods i got i dont even know where to start finding a fix.

is the item being built always from a mod or sometimes vanilla? if its from a mod could be a clash. if from vanilla make a note to Fluffy's Mod dev.

both, had it on a modded chemfuel genny plus some oddball vanilla things.

as far as i can tell this isnt actually coming from Fluff's breakdowns.

Do you have any mods that affect work priority or things of that nature?

Either or, but I'm guessing since you're asking for clarification that you have one or the other?

both.

i have the work tab fluffy mod but ive already checked that, and a load of oddball ai type stuff.

im starting to think a cosmic ray hit a bit or something, my pawn can magicly mine stone in under half a second now.

dont suppose anyone here knows where i can find a solid save editing guide?

Try loading a previous autosave? Sounds like that one pawn might have gotten corrupted stats, which you already suspect since you're asking for a save editing guide, so...If you find one, please mention it, as I was looking for one to cut down the manual clicking of assigning 16 operations to each new colonist in some way.

will do.

so far ive figured out that the save keeps a log of the gear on the pawn with the newer data at the bottom, the data for skills was about 720 lines under the nickname so your going to want to look from 550 to 1000 lines under the name in the file. you can open the save files with any good text editor.

anyway, its 4 am and im about as lucid as a brick right now so im going to bed.

Saves are more or less in plain text. Just open it up in like notepad++ and search for the character, it should be obvious when you find the right section and all the character data is listed together.

Before digging in check their equipment to see if there's something effecting their stats in a weird way, something like negative build speed maybe. A lot of mods have some pretty crazy stats on their items, it might be possible their stats got so high they rolled over. I've never seen that happen, but I don't think I've gone above like 40000% speed in anything.

the only gear thats changed as of late is the guns, but that only gives +.20 move speed and as i have that gun on 2 other pawns im not sure how it could be that.

ill take a deeper look into that later.

okay i found what got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up!

<def>Industriousness</def>
<degree>2</degree>

somehow the data on my pawn's trait got set to -1, not sure if i should blame mods overall or cosmic rays for this one.

IIRC Industriousness is the trait line. 2 is industrious, 1 is hardworker, -1 is lazy, -2 is slothful. A value of -1 is fine there, but if changing it to 2 fixed your problem I imagine it was indeed a negative workspeed issue. Possibly the lazy trait was stacking poorly with another modded trait/effect.
