Only tribal
Is there a way to set a game with only tribal faction and only tribal tech?

I've tried some mods but they work with version 17 and i have version 18

You may choose to start as tribal and then simply restrict your research to whatever technological progress you wish to limit yourself to. No mod necessary.

Ok, but i want also all the other faction to be tribal. I dont want to use bows vs rifles

Those mods above are good solutions, but I think it would be more interesting to allow the other factions to either be more technologically advanced or at least be able to advance farther than you. That would indeed make it particularly difficult, but imposing your own colony's limitations on the rest of the world seems a little too contrived.
Still, at the end of the day, it's your game... enjoy ;)

Regarding those mods... It isn't just the humanoid factions you need to be worried about.
How do they handle the inevitable appearance of mechanoid events? Or even megaspiders by way of an infestation event? Or will they need to be modded out/prevented by dev tools?

medieval world disables mechanoids and insectoids can be avoid by not building in a mountain.

Faction control allows you to remove mechanoid raids as well. I don't know about infestations, but they aren't a real faction/raid, just an event, and can be easily disabled in the scenario.

yep but i wouldn't do that. more enemies = more fun^^

Thx for the answers. I prefer to eliminate all tecnologies because to me this game feels better without automatic weapons.
