Pigs and food poisoning
Pigs in the real world are known to be able to eat pretty much anything. I find my pigs getting food poisoning once in a while. Sometimes in mass when I give them rotten mush to eat. Pigs can eat rotting corpses in real life and not feel ill.

In conclusion pigs should not beable to get food poisoning at all. They should be immune 100% of the time.

There isn't, and then you can eat those pigs without penalty.

I get your points, and it would be an interesting thing to implement. Though making a change for something this minor is unlikely. I honestly would rather see the time spent adding new/interesting features overall.

Ever heard of salmonella? How do you think it gets transmitted to us?

The more you know...

litterally the first line
"Poisoning in pigs can often only be apparent once it becomes fatal"

and while this is an interesting list of poisonings of pigs it DOES NOT list decaying tissue as a poison. Hell even salt is listed as a poison if in too high a volue in the diet but nothing about rotten flesh, or rotten anything.

I work in a university lab taking care of lab mice that have salmonella. Its a bacteria and can be transmitted so many ways to humans that your point is moot. aside from that this topic is about the pigs health not the human, so again, a moot point.

The more you know...

29.7 g for rats, with table sugar, not sure if there is a difference?
not sure for mice. probably a lot less since mice are much smaller.
